The purpose of this Graphic Production project consisted in writing a short story and creating an illustrated single-spread pop-up book out of it.
“Salim is a 21-year-old man, who recently graduated from the food production and restoration course. He is the son of Turkish parents who has been emigrants in Portugal for 27 years.
His father, Mustafá, is a businessman and recently handed over his former kebab business to Salim as a reward for his recent graduation. The boy had other plans for life, but even so, he decided to renovate the restaurant's image and space, and even improve its recipes.
Salim’s Kebab House is highly known for serving generous and cheap portions, and being the only one that stays open until dawn. As a result, Salim's restaurant is already highly regarded by Lisbon residents who return from party nights with little money in their pockets to satisfy their hunger.
