Booky. is a mobile app that allows the user to monitor their readings. It also has a personal assistant (Booky) who makes personalized recommendations, with the help of AI.
It is aimed at users who like to read and want to keep their readings monitored, but also at new readers who don't know where to start, and thus take advantage of the help of Booky.

concept idea

Booky. consists of a Mobile App that allows its users to monitor and save the books that they have read, are currently reading, and intend to read in the future.
It also has a personal assistant (Booky) that allows the user to help if he is in doubt or without ideas for his next reading. This assistant, through a brief questionnaire, will make a personalized recommendation (of a book) based on the given answers.
This idea arose from the need to organize past, present, and future books in a simple, quick, and visually pleasing way. Although there are other platforms on the market capable of performing the same monitoring, we conclude that the existing offer is visually confusing, poorly resolved, and with too many features, which can confuse and make the user experience disastrous and unpleasant.
The personal assistant is born out of the desire to help the reader, whether recurrent or inexperienced, to find his next book in an interactive way that is suited to his needs and limitations. Whether in terms of the number of pages, textual complexity, support, genre, and theme.

ui/ux design

This application is aimed at all users who like to read and are interested in keeping their readings monitored. But also new and less frequent readers who want to venture into the world of reading, but don't know where to start, taking full advantage of the help of our assistant — Booky.
The App was idealized and designed to be used sporadically, only as a reading aid. However, your experience may vary from user to user according to the recurrence of your reading. It is intended to be simple, practical, and intuitive to navigate, so that the user can fulfill the objective that led him to the application, satisfactorily and quickly.
By adapting the content to the tastes of each user, they will have a personalized experience, which will lead to a greater approximation to the App. In the case of Booky, it is presented in a chat format in order to convey a sense of complicity between the "counselor" and the user.
